Street Cars in Melbourne

This is very cool. In all of downtown Melbourne, street cars run down the center of the street. People walk to the center to wait to get on the street cars.

What is even more wierd is when cars need to turn left across the street, they don't move the the left side of the road, instead they pull over to the right so people can pass them on the left, then when it is clear they turn left.

You cann't tell in this picture, but the street car is in the center of the street.
