We went for a horseback ride in the heart of sheep farming land in Kaikhoura. We were entralled to watch the herding dogs doing their job , rounding up some sheep who had escaped into the neighbour's land, then hop up onto an ATV with the shepherd to survey the rest of the farm. This is "Flo" who was retired from herding but joined us for the entire hour ande a half trail ride!
